About the role

  • Tier 2 Network Administrator supporting intel customer with enterprise support problems and managing network incidents. Responsible for conducting network changes and resolving system failures.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct approved network changes to include but not limited to VLan, ACL and port assignment
  • Perform IOS upgrades to routers and switches
  • Perform routing and switching equipment technology upgrades to ensure continued operations of the enterprise
  • Draft Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for network operations
  • Resolve systems failures and accessibility problems within the network to our services
  • Support site survey and engineering designs data calls
  • Support new/enhanced network implementation, installation, and technical refresh projects within a site or locale
  • Works independently with some supervision
  • Perform Network ticket resolution
  • Review and implementation of Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs)

Requirements

  • IAT II TS/SCI security clearance with ability to obtain a CI poly
  • Familiarity with both Cisco and Juniper network devices
  • Strong working knowledge of the various routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, VRF, MPLS, 802.1x)
  • In-depth knowledge of KG-175 Series TACLANES configuration process, fault isolation, and firmware upgrade procedures
  • Working knowledge of Cisco-ISE
