F5 Load Balance Network Engineer implementing and maintaining load balancer technologies for the DOD. Collaborating on enterprise IT contract across multiple networks and locations.
Responsibilities
Implement load balancer technologies in a global enterprise across multiple networks.
Update to new technologies and tune performance.
Provide support to 24/7/365 IT Operations Center personnel for troubleshooting service outages.
Develop and update technical solutions and operating procedures for IT Operations Center personnel.
Ensure Secure Socket Layer/Transport Layer Security (SSL/TLS) offloading and PKI authentication features are operational.
Manage and troubleshoot load balanced IP address spaces.
Assist with certificate renewals as necessary.
Requirements
Experienced in administering and managing F5 load balancer appliances in an enterprise environment.
Knowledge of standards, concepts, and tools to be able to complete technology monitoring and management of F5 appliances.
Technical knowledge backing up PKI certificates and appliance configurations.
Expertise creating, managing, and troubleshooting load balanced IP address spaces.
Experience working independently in support of customer requirements.
Experience interfacing with team members on requirements and solutions.
Familiar with IT Service Management products such as ServiceNow.
Candidate must, at a minimum, meet DoDM 8140.03 (previously DoD 8570) – IT System Admin Intermediate certification requirements (Cloud+, GICSP, SSCP, Security+ CE, GSEC, or higher).
Candidate must possess an F5 Certified Administrator (201) or higher certification.
