Responsibilities
Actively participate in the design and project implementation of the organizations network technologies for LANs, WANs, DC, Firewall, VPN, and Wireless technologies
Provide consulting expertise, direction, and assistance to IS colleagues (Systems Analysts, infrastructure Admins, Database Analysts, Security Analysts), Facilities/Redevelopment colleagues, and 3 party partnerships in support of IT initiatives and enterprise projects.
Conduct research on emerging technologies in support of infrastructure development efforts and recommend technologies that will increase cost effectiveness and infrastructure flexibility.
Actively monitor the network and proactively take proper actions in preventing boarder impacts and outages.
Troubleshoot networking and security issues escalated.
Develop, document, communicate, and enforce a network technology standards policy.
Generate physical and logical topologies of provided solutions and hospital network
Requirements
Cisco ENCOR, CCNP, or CCIE certification in correspondent technology is preferred
