Responsibilities
Administer and maintain network environments (LAN, WAN and Wi‑Fi);
Monitor network performance, availability and infrastructure capacity, identify bottlenecks, and ensure operational efficiency;
Respond to critical incidents and perform advanced troubleshooting;
Design and implement secure, scalable network solutions;
Manage and configure firewalls, VPNs and access controls;
Develop projects to improve network systems, analyzing existing systems and evaluating new solutions;
Deploy and advance monitoring and automation tools;
Ensure up-to-date technical documentation and adherence to best practices;
Serve as a technical reference for the team, applying expertise and quality standards;
Document network architecture, processes and procedures;
Keep the network management system updated;
Guide users on the effective use of the network services and applications deployed within the Institution;
Manage, through specialized software, all available tools and provide data to update the management information system;
Interact with vendors and carriers, monitoring service SLAs;
Evaluate technologies and solutions for expansion and modernization;
Install and configure switches, routers and firewalls;
Perform firmware updates and security patches;
Support integration projects with cloud environments;
Monitor and manage budgetary expenses, supporting and informing area supervision about any variances.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field;
Experience: prior experience in similar roles;
Specific knowledge: solid experience in corporate network administration;
