Responsibilities
- Develops application code based on functional specification and given architectural design in the area of data collection, validation, enrichments and adjustments;
- Reads and understands functional design documents and writes corresponding technical design documents;
- Maintains configurable components;
- Creates test cases for new functionality;
- Performs defect fixing in all test cycles;
- Ensures that the code passes daily build, deployment and smoke tests;
- Provides support for incidents, problem/root cause analysis.
Requirements
- Extended experience in Software Development (8+ years);
- Proven experience in similar implementations with complex business logic: microservices architecture implementations, cloud migration/implementation, OAUTH2 implementations;
- Strong knowledge of Java 8, Java 17, Spring 5, Spring 6, Spring Boot 2, Spring Boot 3 (Spring Batch, Spring Security, Spring Data JPA, Web Flux, Spring Quartz), Maven;
- Strong knowledge of REST architecture and good knowledge SOA architecture;
- Data exchange with JMS, Kafka, RESTful services;
- Strong knowledge of Oracle database, SQL and ORM Technologies (JPA2, Hibernate);
- Strong knowledge of build automation systems such as TeamCity or Github Actions;
- Strong knowledge of microservice architecture (async communication between microservices, Saga pattern);
- Cloud experience (migration or applications running on cloud) with Google platform or AWS;
- Monitoring: Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana;
- Continuous learning about latest changes in the main project technology (java, spring);
- Develop new software programs and improve the performance of existing ones;
- Proactively proposing enhancements from with technical and business benefits;
- Drive optimization in the solution and the development process.
