About the role
- Senior Fullstack Engineer developing and mentoring on internal tools for a logistics platform in Brazil. Leading technical architecture and robust modules in both frontend and backend systems.
Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation of robust frontend modules and micro-frontends for our internal platform.
- Design and maintain backend architecture and logic using Node.js, Express, and MySQL.
- Participate in system design discussions and technical decision-making.
- Propose and implement improvements across the stack with a focus on performance and scalability.
- Ensure code quality by following best practices, conducting code reviews, and implementing automated tests.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Operations teams to understand and solve real user problems.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other engineers.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience as a fullstack developer.
- Proficiency in Node.js and Express, including asynchronous design and REST APIs.
- Strong expertise in React.js (Context API, hooks, custom components, state management).
- Solid experience with MySQL. Elasticsearch is a plus.
- Experience integrating mapping libraries (Google Maps, Mapbox).
- Comfortable working with Firebase for storage.
- Knowledge of AWS (S3, Lambda).
- Ability to architect scalable, secure, and maintainable systems.
- Fluency in writing clean, testable, and well-documented code.
- Good communication, team spirit, and a proactive attitude.
- Availability to participate in an on-call rotation covering night shifts and high-demand periods.
- Flexibility to work paid overtime in case of technical incidents.
