Responsibilities
supports the achievement of corporate financial and growth goals by providing management in all areas of the company with necessary financial information and analysis pertaining to profitability and key financial measures
design, analyze and maintain financial operational reporting systems to provide this information
lead in the planning and development of complex and/or strategic analysis used by business partners and divisional leadership
represent the division in presentation of analyses to divisional leadership on a regular basis and occasionally to executive leadership
utilize advanced modeling techniques to appropriately analyze the financial and growth implications of various solutions
research, design, and develop more complex and comprehensive management reports as requested for all levels of management
work with divisional leadership to determine and develop appropriate metrics to assess performance and identify opportunities to improve business results
actively participate as the financial expert and represent Finance on critical cross-functional teams
Requirements
Extensive Insurance industry expense planning and forecasting experience.
Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support or service.
Demonstrated experience in financial statement and management reporting.
Demonstrated experience with complex financial and operational analysis.
Extensive knowledge and understanding of forecasting techniques, statistical analysis, data modeling, and data mining.
Extensive knowledge and understanding of insurance accounting and operations.
