Responsibilities
Responsible for the design and development of PCB-based electrical systems, including creation of circuit schematics and selection of suitable electronic components.
Designs multilayer PCB layouts, performs design rule checks, and ensures adherence to relevant industry, safety, and EMC standards.
Prepares manufacturing and assembly documentation, such as Gerber files, bills of materials (BOMs), and assembly drawings.
Supports prototype builds, including testing, troubleshooting, validation, and iterative design improvements.
Collaborates closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., mechanical, firmware, testing, manufacturing) to ensure alignment with overall product requirements and performance targets.
Receives task assignments and performance oversight from the designated functional manager, according to the current organizational structure.
Requirements
Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Professional experience in electrical design, preferably in power electronics or industrial energy systems.
Understanding of medium- or high-voltage systems and grid-connected products is an advantage.
Proficiency in schematic design, component selection, and PCB development.
Familiarity with relevant safety and EMC standards.
Ability to support testing, validation, and troubleshooting in a lab environment.
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across engineering teams.
