About the role
- Support and manage credit analyses for decision-making and presentations to the credit committee. Act as a liaison between origination, management and recovery teams, ensuring compliance and risk control.
Responsibilities
- The Senior Credit Analyst for Middle Office will be responsible for supporting and managing activities related to credit analysis.
- Perform credit work, covering all relevant information necessary for decision-making and presentation to the credit committee.
- Monitor portfolios, manage credit risk and ensure compliance, acting as a key link between credit origination and management & recovery areas.
- Be proactive in resolving requests, support the commercial area, conduct client credit visits and calls, and work effectively in a team.
- This professional will play an active role in validating analyses, identifying emerging risks, and ensuring adherence to internal policies and regulations.
Requirements
- Experience in credit analysis, credit risk management, and financial analysis of companies.
- Knowledge of financial statement analysis (balance sheet, income statement/P&L, cash flow).
- Knowledge of the capital markets, financial instruments, and applicable regulations (Central Bank of Brazil - BACEN; Brazilian Securities Commission - CVM).
- Familiarity with credit risk analysis tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
- Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Accounting, Engineering, Economics, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Good communication skills.
- Technical knowledge of the company’s products/services or the industry of operation.
