About the role

  • Pricing Analyst focusing on strategic pricing and market analysis in the fuel distribution segment for Ipiranga. Collaborating with commercial teams to improve pricing strategies and market decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Work in the Tactical Pricing area within the fuel distribution segment, focusing on ensuring the most strategic pricing, margin, and volume positioning for Ipiranga and its operating segment.
  • Partner with the commercial team to map the specific characteristics of each market, contributing to more accurate decision-making and proposing improvements to evolve pricing.
  • Analyze requests for changes to commercial terms submitted by the commercial team, supported by the company's pricing policy defined for the region of responsibility, and use analytical capability to translate current market needs.
  • Perform daily updates of costs and prices during the change process, following established procedures to remain audit-compliant. Also participate in the ongoing identification of process improvement opportunities.
  • Structure and enhance management reports with market information, monitor volume and margin, ensure adherence to policy and develop action plans for significant deviations.
  • Maintain active communication with the commercial team to understand regional and segment-specific particularities and to disseminate market trends obtained internally by the Pricing area and/or through partnerships with other departments.
  • Act as a technical knowledge support point for the team and provide backup support during staff shortages or peak demand, contributing to process continuity and delivery of results.

Requirements

  • Experience: Knowledge of business KPIs such as margin, volume, market share, etc.
  • Soft skills: Active listening and effective communication; collaboration and teamwork; resilience and emotional intelligence; proactivity; time management, organization, and a sense of urgency; advanced analytical capability.
  • Technical skills: Excel; Power BI
  • Education: Bachelor's degree.
