About the role
- Senior Accounting Associate focused on client engagements and supervising junior staff at Crisler CPA. Manage client accounts and ensure financial accuracy with a hybrid work setup.
Responsibilities
- Focus on accounting engagements for our business and nonprofit clients
- Supervise junior staff
- Participate in process improvement initiatives
- Assist with gathering information from clients and coordinating with accounting staff and managers
- Monitor and report on assigned engagements' status
- Prepare client invoices and maintain accounts receivable and payable ledgers
- Process client payroll and assist with tax deposits
- Prepare payroll tax returns and record accounting transactions
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Licensed CPA or exam-eligible CPA-candidate strongly preferred
- Minimum 4 years of recent accounting/bookkeeping experience required
- CPA firm experience a plus
- Proficient with QuickBooks (Desktop & Online) and Microsoft Office
- Great attention to detail, sound communication and analytical skills
