Responsibilities
- Responsible for the accounting of the sales companies, including general ledger, accounts receivable and accounts payable, month-end and year-end closings, ad-hoc reports and budgets
- Monitoring and reconciliation of intercompany balances and coordinating intercompany settlements in collaboration with global accounting
- Independently perform the monthly and annual closing processes for our international subsidiaries
- Coordinate with local accountants, tax advisors and auditors
- Preparation and review of financial statements and management reports for these subsidiaries (Swiss GAAP FER)
- Contribute to process improvements and system optimizations
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- At least five years of professional experience in an international corporate environment (Accounting/Reporting)
- Experience with ERP systems (Sage or Business Central is an advantage)
- Strong Excel and data organization skills
- Familiarity with intercompany and multi-entity environments
- Solid understanding of Swiss GAAP FER and/or German HGB
- Very good English skills; German is a plus
- Detail-oriented, reliable and able to work both independently and as part of a team
