About the role
- Senior Accountant managing accounts receivable and payable for Active Nutrition International GmbH. Collaborating with auditors and responsible for financial reporting and compliance in a hybrid work setting.
Responsibilities
- Independently support accounts receivable and accounts payable accounting, including the dunning process and clearing of open items
- Post bank statements and advices, prepare VAT returns (AT & CH) and Intrastat declarations
- Responsible for management and posting of fixed assets
- Support monthly and annual closings including provisions, foreign currency valuations, SOX documentation and reporting to the USA
- Liaise with auditors, tax advisors and tax inspectors.
Requirements
- Degree in business administration or commercial training plus further qualification as a certified accountant (Bilanzbuchhalter)
- Solid professional experience in financial accounting and tax law (UStG, HGB, US GAAP)
- Strong understanding of ERP systems (Infor advantageous), ideally Key User experience in an ERP implementation project
- Independent working style, strong drive to take initiative, and solution- and goal-oriented mindset
- Business-fluent German and English skills.
