Responsibilities
Review functional requirements, specifications, and design documents to ensure full understanding and test coverage
Design, document, and execute detailed manual test cases for web applications, internal tools, and integrations
Perform functional, regression, integration, and acceptance testing to ensure software quality and performance
Execute UI testing across multiple browsers and devices, ensuring consistent behavior and responsive design
Test new and existing functionality for bugs, inconsistencies, and usability issues, reporting defects in detail
Work closely with Developers, Business Analysts, and Product Managers to clarify requirements and validate fixes
Ensure defects are properly tracked, verified, and closed in Jira or other tracking tools
Participate in sprint ceremonies, daily stand-ups, and release readiness reviews
Maintain structured and up-to-date test documentation in TestRail or equivalent systems
Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and quality standards across teams
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field
4–5 years of hands-on experience as a Manual QA Engineer or Software Tester
Strong understanding of manual testing methodologies, including functional, regression, and exploratory testing
Solid grasp of REST API, HTTP, JSON, and WebSocket concepts
Skilled in using Jira, BrowserStack, TestRail, DevTools
Experience in Agile/Scrum environments and familiarity with SDLC
Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills
Good written and spoken English
