About the role
- Quality Engineer ensuring product quality and supporting manufacturing processes in Oulu, Finland. Collaborating with global teams and suppliers to maintain high quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Monitor product and supplier quality performance and drive continuous improvement with internal teams and suppliers.
- Handle internal and supplier nonconformities, including quarantine, investigation, and timely closure.
- Lead the implementation and development of Quality Control processes.
- Lead supplier management system audits and manage supplier change requests.
- Support internal and external audits and other Management System activities.
- Contribute to Lean manufacturing initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree or above in Electronics Engineering, or other relevant engineering field
- 3-5 years experience in supplier or product quality improvement work
- Hands-on experience on quality and continuous improvement tools (e.g. PDCA, A3, 5 Whys, FMEA, Control Plans, SPC, Pareto analysis, Lean tools)
- Familiar with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 requirements
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Self-motivated, proactive and result oriented team player
- Willingness to travel
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (preferred)
