About the role

• Project Manager overseeing projects for Global Climate Solutions at Resideo with a focus on value and ROI. Leading teams in a fast-paced environment maximizing transparency and predictability throughout project lifecycles.

Responsibilities

• Clearly communicates a vision and goals to the Project team
• Holds the Project team accountable to their commitments
• Supports the Project team to make accurate, timely, and important decisions
• Responsible for understanding, articulating, and driving focus on business objectives
• Managing project financials and budgets, proactively
• Continuously evolving your understanding of GCS customers and market dynamics
• Communicating risks and developing effective mitigation plans
• Supporting the project teams in effectiveness, project details, and estimations of project timelines
• Creating a project schedule with effective progress monitoring to ensure timely delivery
• Utilize tools appropriately including but not limited to (MS Project, JIRA, Accolade...)
• Produces and presents clear and concise Project status reports and updates across multiple levels of the organization
• Disciplined in taking the proper course of action to complete each phase of the project properly
• Harness your understanding of Agile principles
• Able to enable work with SCRUM methodology if needed by project type
• Regular presentations and report outs to leadership within the GCS business.

Requirements

• 7+ years' experience in managing complex Product Development Projects
• Experience in Project management
• Agile or PMP certified
• Experience working through certifications, norms, and product testing services, e.g. UL
• Customer centric approach with a focus on driving results
• A trustworthy partner, who is transparent, efficient, and precise in their communication
• A keen ability to prioritize and focus on what matters most, while being able to decipher what can be put aside
• Business savvy to know when and whom to communicate with
• Experience driving team collaboration and harmony with the ability to set a positive upbeat tone and tempo.
