Responsibilities
Drive technology rationalization efforts from 3rd party suppliers to optimize product and service costs.
Define, monitor, and enhance Bill of Material (BoM) Health and rating parameters to reduce Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).
Collaborate with Technical Engineering teams to find alternative sources for components facing risks such as end-of-life, quality issues, or shortages.
Manage part qualification requests, technical checks, and approval processes with R&D and Program teams.
Standardize and promote the reuse of approved components across different programs and products.
Develop and uphold quality specifications while reviewing supplier component quality data adhering to Nokia Q requirements.
Enhance BOM Health ratings and increase component commonality within platforms while recommending second sourcing strategies.
Lead component renewal initiatives in partnership with the Technical Engineering team for ongoing platform improvements.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
Strong expertise in Bill of Material (BoM) management and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) analysis
Proven experience in supplier component quality assessment and risk management
Ability to standardize and harmonize components across multiple products and programs
Experience in leading cross-functional teams in an international environment
Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to components
Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking capabilities
