About the role
- Lead consulting projects at MEDiSTRAVA, delivering Medical Affairs strategies for biopharma clients. Drive client relationships, business development, and mentor junior staff.
Responsibilities
- Lead core client teams to design and define strategic and tactical recommendations across diverse projects
- Serve as a strategic partner to clients, tailoring Medical Affairs strategies based on clinical, regulatory and access environments
- Lead delivery of projects to a high standard and act as the day-to-day point of contact for clients
- Chair and drive workshops and stakeholder meetings, ensuring clear outcomes and actionable next steps
- Coordinate teams across MEDiSTRAVA and Inizio to leverage expertise for project delivery
- Build trusted relationships across client and internal Inizio teams
- Develop understanding of evolving biopharma client needs across organisational types
- Drive new business development activities and contribute to strategic account planning
- Support development of junior staff through coaching, training, and performance feedback
Requirements
- Prior experience as Consultant or Senior Consultant within strategic healthcare consultancy
- In-depth knowledge of the healthcare industry, including Medical Affairs
- Proven ability to drive strategic engagements with biopharma clients (payer, provider, patient landscapes)
- Understanding of Medical Affairs organisational structures across company archetypes
- Project management skills, multitasking, and responsibility for project milestones
- Proficiency in research and data analysis, ability to collect, analyse and interpret complex data sets
- Experience mentoring and supporting team members
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven track record in business development: opportunity identification, proposal development, client pitching
- Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with industry trends
- Willingness and ability to travel
- Bachelor’s degree in a life science-related field required; advanced degree (PhD, PharmD, MD, or MBA) preferred
- Extensive experience in healthcare consulting and/or within a pharmaceutical/biotech company
- Authorization to work in the United States required
