About the role
- Practice Leader, Portfolio Analyst assisting DGIG project portfolio management and mentoring professionals. Coordinating budgeting, risk management, and process optimization for project portfolios in the company.
Responsibilities
- Assist the DGIG project portfolio manager by providing subject matter expertise and support
- Coordinate and mentor a group of seasoned professionals
- Analyze and/or make recommendations on budgets, estimates, projections and other financial parameters of projects
- Analyze processes and recommend ways to simplify and automate them
- Help create performance and budget governance indicators and develop methodologies for risk management, capacity management and project benefit management
- Interact with many contributors working in fields like finance, risks and delivery
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in project management, finance or a related field
- A minimum of eight years of experience in actuarial services or finance
- Experience in portfolio management, project management and/or project control
- Knowledge of French is required
- Intermediate advanced proficiency of English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients
- Proficiency in Jira, Power BI, OPMI and Microsoft Office suite
- Knowledge of project and portfolio risk management
- Knowledge of cost estimate methodologies
