About the role

  • Customer service analyst at Althaia, engaging in consumer support and pharmacovigilance. Ensuring compliance with regulations while promoting health and well-being.

Responsibilities

  • Handle multichannel customer service (phone, email, chat) via Zendesk, ensuring inquiries, suggestions, or complaints are resolved
  • Deliver exceptional customer experience using empathy and transparency to build trust in the group's brands
  • Record and organize all requests in internal systems, following documentation best practices
  • Perform triage, recording, and initial assessment of adverse event reports, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations
  • Actively monitor communication channels for early detection of safety signals related to portfolio compounds
  • Identify and monitor adverse events in the scientific literature
  • Populate databases and computerized systems with accurate information to ensure full case traceability
  • Develop and review Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the area, ensuring workflows reflect Quality Management System requirements
  • Participate in training and updates on pharmacovigilance and consumer protection regulatory standards

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy
  • Preferred: Postgraduate or specialization in Pharmacovigilance, Pharmacology, or related fields
  • Previous experience in customer service, preferably in healthcare or the pharmaceutical industry
  • Solid knowledge of current pharmacovigilance regulations (national and international) and of regulatory authority systems (ANVISA/VigiMed)
  • Knowledge of customer service and support guidelines
  • Experience with the SAP system
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with intermediate-level Excel for reporting and data control
  • Intermediate English (preferred), with emphasis on technical reading for analysis of scientific literature
