About the role
- Intern in Corporate Strategy at Nexa Resources supporting project management and strategic execution. Working part-time in hybrid mode with office presence required at São Paulo.
Responsibilities
- Support the PMO team with enthusiasm and intelligence, focusing on the SMO area (planning and execution of corporate strategy);
- Participate in cross-functional projects, developing a broad understanding of the company;
- Support the management and monitoring of strategic projects and initiatives linked to Nexa's strategic plan;
- Identify opportunities for improvement and automation in internal processes and project management methodologies;
- Develop platforms and tools that optimize data collection and the interpretation of results;
- Monitor Nexa's strategic and ESG project portfolio, applying an agile mindset and enhancing controls and indicators;
- Collect, consolidate and analyze operational and financial data, preparing strategic reports and presentations;
- Contribute to the development of financial business cases and decision-support reports;
- Propose and implement continuous improvements to processes and management tools;
- Attend meetings, prepare minutes, follow up on action plans and act as a liaison between different areas (corporate and operational);
- Monitor physical progress and project indicators for strategic projects, consolidate spreadsheets and internal reports, and track milestones;
- Support activity planning and the management of indicators and progress of the strategic portfolio.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled from the 5th semester onwards in: Economics, Mining Engineering, or Production Engineering;
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills;
- Experience with Power BI and Power Automate;
- Financial analysis skills;
- Analytical mindset and focus on continuous improvement;
- English – desirable (intermediate level);
- Spanish – desirable (intermediate level).
