Network Engineer responsible for setting up and maintaining network systems for EdgeUno. Troubleshooting issues and ensuring high-speed internet connectivity across Latin America.
Responsibilities
Installing, configuring, testing, and documenting network equipment and systems.
Overseeing day-to-day operations to ensure network reliability, availability, and serviceability with minimal interruption.
Hands-on experience with installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of networks using Juniper routers.
Maximizing network performance through ongoing monitoring and troubleshooting.
Participating in network upgrade and expansion projects, including logical installation of hardware and software, and conducting integration testing.
Documenting installations, network topology, and hardware or software troubleshooting procedures.
Troubleshooting and supporting networking concepts and protocols such as VLAN, L2VPN, VRF, MPLS, RSVP-TE, OSPF, and BGP.
Supporting existing networks and performing upgrades as needed.
Performing network routing, cabling, and switching activities.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Software/Computer Systems Engineering, Computer Systems and Networks, Electrical/Electronic/Telecommunications Engineering, or a related field.
Experience in a similar position.
Experience with Juniper routers, switches, and firewalls.
English level B2 or higher is required.
Hands-on experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting networks with Juniper routers.
Expertise in MPLS network configurations, including strong knowledge of MPLS-TE.
Experience collaborating with vendors such as Arista, Cisco, Extreme, Fortinet, Juniper, and others in a professional services role.
Knowledge of security, QoS, and DWDM concepts and technologies.
Experience in network traffic analysis and troubleshooting.
Juniper or Cisco certifications.
