About the role
- Solicitor managing complex Motor Insurance litigated cases in Manchester/Leeds. Mentoring junior team members and ensuring compliance with client SLAs in a hybrid work environment.
Responsibilities
- Proactively manage & progress a complex litigated caseload of Motor Defendant Insurance cases
- Appropriately apply the specific technical principles needed to drive the proactive settlement
- Have knowledge of and work cases in line with all client SLAs
- Use case management systems to improve speed of settlement
- Identify any cases which may require further investigation surrounding Fraud indicators
- Prioritise and organise your work efficiently
- Act as a mentor/provide support and guidance to more junior team members
Requirements
- A qualified Solicitor
- Experience of running a more complex Motor Insurance Litigated Caseload
- Sound knowledge of the MOJ, Small Track process
- The ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks
- Excellent attention to detail
- The ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Business acumen and an understanding of the clients' needs
- Computer literate including proficient use of Microsoft Office
- Previous experience of working with Visual Files case management system (desirable)
- Experience supervising / mentoring other team members (desirable)
