- Engineering/Technician specializing in HVAC systems for shipbuilding at Fassmer. Involves technical design, project management, and collaboration with suppliers and clients.
Responsibilities
- Technical responsibility for refrigeration, air conditioning and ventilation systems in shipbuilding
- Development of technical concepts and preparation of specifications for the approval and procurement processes
- System design and calculations
- Definition, coordination and management of interfaces with suppliers
- Evaluation of bids and preparation of recommendations for decision-making regarding technical risks and cost considerations
- Review and assessment of suppliers' design documentation
- Creation and/or review of schematic piping diagrams based on construction specifications and classification society regulations
- Preparation and/or review of 3D models in the field of refrigeration, air conditioning and ventilation technology
- Technical coordination with customers and system suppliers
- Collaboration with other design departments and production
Requirements
- Completed technical or scientific degree or technician qualification (m/f/d)
- Professional experience in the field and experience with integration in shipbuilding desirable
- Confident knowledge of regulations and standards, preferably classification society rules and SOLAS
- Proficient user of the CAD program AutoCAD and good MS Office skills
- Good written and spoken English, particularly for technical topics
- Confident demeanour, ability to work independently, assertiveness, and strong communication and team skills
