About the role
- Lead Software Engineer building data-driven applications for cyber security services. Designing and maintaining in-house software systems hosted in Google Cloud Platform with a focus on security and collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Design, build and maintain our in-house developed software systems hosted in Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Get creative to take our systems to the next level
- Collaborate with product owners and service leads to deliver high-throughput, data-intensive applications for security analysts and engineers across the Group
- Lead the integration of security controls into the software lifecycle
- Champion agile development, automation, and collaborative engineering practices
- Mentor and grow a high-performing, psychologically safe engineering team
Requirements
- Proven expertise in Python and comfort navigating diverse tech ecosystems
- Experience designing and maintaining secure systems in complex environments
- Strong understanding of vulnerability management, risk mitigation, and secure development practices
