• Lead Java Developer creating cloud-native backend systems at Vitech. Delivering high-performance solutions for the insurance, pension, and retirement sectors.

Responsibilities

• **As a Staff Java Developer at Vitech, you’ll lead the design and development of high-performance, cloud-native backend systems that handle massive volumes of real-time, transactional data. You’ll dive deep into backend development while also contributing to frontend work with ReactJS as well as architecting microservices using Advanced Core Java, Spring Boot, and modern AWS services to power mission-critical applications for global clients in the insurance, pension, and retirement sectors.**
• Lead and engage in the full software development lifecycle, from coding and design to testing and deployment.**
• Apply advanced Core Java concepts like inheritance, interfaces, and abstract classes to solve complex, real-world business challenges.**
• Work across the full stack, with a focus on backend development (Java) and frontend development (ReactJS)**
• Build and optimize REST APIs for data-intensive systems **
• Write raw SQL and use PostgreSQL and Hibernate for backend development **
• Collaborate closely with a talented team to deliver high-quality, impactful solutions that meet customer needs.**
• Lead code reviews, performance benchmarking, and backend reliability initiatives

Requirements

• ****Experience Level:** 8+ years (excluding academic or freelance work) ****
• **• Deep expertise in Advanced Core Java**
• **• Strong understanding of inheritance, interfaces, abstract classes, and concrete classes**
• **• Ability to apply these concepts to solve complex, business-driven problems.**
• **• Strong command of SQL and backend data modeling using PostgreSQL**
• **• Solid experience with Hibernate and Spring frameworks to support backend development**
