IT Enterprise Architect Defense shaping IT landscapes for security-relevant organizations in the public sector. Developing IT strategies and optimizing architectures to connect strategy and technology.
Responsibilities
Design, transformation and further development of clients' IT landscapes in the public sector and defense environments
Analysis, modeling and optimization of enterprise architectures, processes, scenarios and systems — including deriving potential enhancements for architectures and tool landscapes
Creation and alignment of reference and project architectures in collaboration with IT and digitization projects
Development of target architectures and portfolio measures to strategically align complex IT environments in the context of the German Armed Forces (Bundeswehr)
Specification of requirements for procurement projects — from individual software products to complex IT systems — and definition of architecture standards and principles
Organization, moderation and facilitation of workshops and reviews to ensure clarity, acceptance and sustainable results
Requirements
At least 7 years of relevant professional experience in IT planning, target architecture development and architecture design
Confident use of architecture tools (e.g., ARIS, SPARX EA) and frameworks such as NAF or TOGAF
Knowledge of requirements elicitation and requirements management
Familiarity with relevant structures, processes and systems in the public sector or security-related environments
Experience with metamodels such as ADMBw or UAF DMM
Ideally experience with GIS and projects in security-relevant public sector environments
Very good German language skills (C1 level) and conversational-level English skills
