About the role

  • Providing IT support for gastronomy in 1st & 2nd level support. Collaborate with clients on technical solutions and system configuration.

Responsibilities

  • Customer support & problem resolution
  • Telephone and written support of our hospitality customers
  • Analyze, diagnose and independently resolve technical inquiries
  • Support with usage and configuration questions (POS, online reservation & ordering systems, payment, digital tools)
  • Structured documentation in the ticketing system
  • Setup, testing and configuration of POS systems as well as hardware and software
  • Management of interfaces (payment, accounting, online ordering systems, kitchen processes)
  • Fault analysis involving networks, peripherals and cloud applications
  • Application support for digital process workflows
  • Best-practice recommendations for the optimal use of our solutions
  • Close collaboration with engineering, project management and sales
  • On-call duty from 17:00–22:00 and on weekends & public holidays with additional compensation

Requirements

  • Experienced professionals or career changers with hospitality experience
  • Experience in the hospitality industry or technical training in IT (e.g. IT specialist, IT support, system integration)
  • Basic technical understanding – ideally in POS systems, networks or cloud solutions
  • Strong willingness to learn and interest in digital processes
  • German language skills at C1 level
  • Friendly, reliable communication – also in stressful situations
  • Solution-oriented working style and personal responsibility
  • Team spirit and enjoyment of customer contact
  • Willingness to perform occasional field service or customer training
