Personal Lines Insurance Agent maintaining and maximizing relationships with clients while driving new sales opportunities. Position requires Illinois insurance license and two years of relevant experience.
Responsibilities
Identify, qualify, and develop personal insurance opportunities with new and existing clients
Foster and maintain excellent relationships with clients and prospects
Anticipate, respond to, and follow up on all existing client needs
Obtain best coverage/rate for insured, process quotes, and bind insurance coverage
Present policies to insured and educate them on coverages and rates
Collaborate with team members, provide expertise, answer questions, and participate in meetings
Maintain CE and participate in ongoing education
Requirements
Hold Illinois insurance license
Minimum of two years personal and commercial lines insurance account management experience
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Strong knowledge of insurance products and usages, rating procedures, underwriting procedures, coverages, and industry operations
Strong presentation, persuasion and negotiation skills
People-oriented and customer-focused
Outstanding organizational skills

Sound business judgment and strong decision-making
