Responsibilities
- Manager, Healthcare and Well-being Strategy, is a visionary leader responsible for designing and optimizing innovative strategies that advance General Motors’ health and well-being objectives
- Develop and oversee the execution of multi-year strategic plans targeting healthcare and well-being improvements
- Lead the identification of emerging trends, opportunities, and challenges in healthcare and employee well-being
- Align healthcare and wellness strategies with GM's business goals, values, and culture
- Design, launch, and manage comprehensive health and wellness programs
- Establish metrics for program effectiveness and drive continuous improvement
- Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders
- Engage with external partners such as healthcare providers, insurance carriers, wellness consultants, and community organizations
- Analyze health and wellness data to identify opportunities for improvement and demonstrate program impact
- Serve as a thought leader and mentor to staff and cross-functional team members
- Develop and manage budgets for healthcare and wellness initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, public health, human resources, business, finance, or related field required
- Minimum of 6 years’ experience in healthcare strategy, employee well-being, wellness program management, or a related field
- Experience in value-based healthcare arrangements, non-occupational health onsite or near-site clinics, healthcare and pharmacy design and innovation
- Exceptional strategic thinking and analytical abilities
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability to develop and manage budgets and vendor relationships
- Proficient in data analysis and reporting, with experience using relevant software and tools
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations, compliance requirements, and industry best practices
- Demonstrated leadership and coaching skills
- High degree of professionalism, discretion, and ethical standards.
