About the role
- Financial Analyst responsible for credit reports and risk assessments. Collaborating across teams to analyze and review financial data and proposals.
Responsibilities
- Control and validation of bank remittances and returns;
- Monitoring and recording of integrations between the company’s systems;
- Participation in projects;
- Collect and analyze credit-related information: gather financial data (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, income tax returns, registration/company information, and market data);
- Prepare credit opinions: develop detailed analyses of the client’s ability to pay and risk profile, providing a conclusive opinion with a recommendation to approve, reject, or specify conditions for granting credit;
- Analyze and evaluate financial indicators: calculate and interpret liquidity, leverage, profitability, and activity ratios to determine the applicant’s financial health;
- Review credit limits: assess and propose adjustments to existing customers’ credit limits based on new financial information or changes in the economic environment;
- Analyze credit renewals: process credit renewal requests by re-evaluating the customer profile and market conditions;
- Strong interaction with cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- Advanced Excel
- Knowledge of Power BI or Tableau is a plus
- Experience with SAP HANA – FI module
- Knowledge of SQL or Python is a plus
- Experience in credit analysis and financial statement analysis
- Solid knowledge of accounts receivable, credit, and collections routines
