About the role
- Finance Specialist handling financial accounting duties and reporting for clinical research organization. Collaborating within a hybrid team in an English-speaking environment from either Munich or Münster.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for bookkeeping and account reconciliations
- Processing incoming and outgoing invoices and invoice verification
- Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB)
- Handling internal and external payment transactions and liquidity planning
- Supporting the preparation of financial reports and analyses
- Communicating with tax advisors, authorities and other external partners
- Maintenance and further development of DATEV applications and processes
Requirements
- Completed commercial vocational training or equivalent qualification in finance and accounting
- Several years of professional experience in financial accounting
- Solid knowledge of DATEV software
- Confident user of common MS Office applications, especially Excel
- Good knowledge of German tax law and the German Commercial Code (HGB)
- Very good English skills
- Independent, structured and reliable way of working
