About the role
- Finance Manager partnering with senior leaders across EMEA Product & Supplier Management team. Driving financial performance and strategic outcomes in a hybrid work model.
Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted strategic advisor to senior stakeholders, providing robust financial challenge and insight to shape category strategy and performance.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to drive financial and operational performance.
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, and re-forecasting, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Plan Category Margin targets and report on performance across our broad product range.
- Work with market Financial Directors to align margin targets and performance to country operating profit plans.
- Representing Finance on the Product & Supplier Management Leadership Team, actively contributing to strategic discussions and influencing cross-functional decisions.
- Provide financial analysis and reporting to drive category decision making, investment prioritisation, and margin optimisation.
- Oversee financial management of category projects and programmes, including Product Range Expansion and Merchandise Hierarchy updates.
- Champion best practices, continuous improvement, and the effective use of technology in financial reporting.
Requirements
- Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA (or equivalent), ideally bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience in a finance business partnering role within a large, matrixed organisation.
- Strong financial modelling, analysis, and forecasting skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights and recommendations.
- Proven ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders in a constructive and commercially focused manner.
- Strong leadership presence, with the confidence to operate at senior levels and contribute to strategic decision-making.
- Knowledge and understanding of Product & Supplier Management at both strategic and operational levels.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., SAP, Power BI, Business Objects, Excel).
