Responsibilities
Support internal and external audits, including report preparation.
Coordinate and attend internal control walkthrough meetings with relevant individuals from within the business unit and the external auditors.
Coordinate and support the quarterly attestation process.
Support write-off reporting and coordination.
Business continuity planning and disaster recovery.
Coordinate access reviews.
Support the Financial Controls team as needed.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree
Major/specialization in accounting, finance, or commerce is preferred
Suitable for a new or recent graduate
Understanding of IFRS and SOX controls preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills
Self-motivated, results-oriented and flexible to changing priorities and timelines
Proven technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
Bilingualism (French, English, both oral and written) is required for Quebec only as the position reports to a unilingual English-speaking manager outside Quebec.
