Responsibilities
Prepares and distributes periodic financial statements for users other than those directly employed by the organization.
Works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial.
Ensures all reports and disclosures comply with applicable government regulations, professional standards and organization policies.
Prepares consolidation journal entries, eliminates intercompany transactions and consolidates divisional and subsidiary financial accounts in a timely and accurate basis for inclusion in internal and external financial statements.
Advises executives to develop functional strategies (often segment specific) on matters of significance.
Exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, and works under minimal supervision.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance, and/or MBA/CPA
5-7 years of financial accounting/reporting experience
Moderate experience with Microsoft Office products, primarily Excel, Word, PowerPoint
Previous experience with financial reporting and/or data analysis
Previous experience in working with large data sets, querying, or consolidation of results for reporting; exposure to SQL or querying tools
Strong verbal and written communication skills
