Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a high-performing team of Solution Engineers focused on delivering enterprise-grade banking solutions
- Translate business strategies and requirements into comprehensive technical solution designs
- Collaborate with senior business stakeholders to understand strategic goals and proactively identify technology opportunities
- Evaluate, recommend, and integrate vendor products and emerging technologies that align with the bank’s objectives
- Ensure architectural consistency, scalability, and security across all solution designs
- Maintain and evolve reference architectures, blueprints, and portfolio-level designs
- Drive innovation and thought leadership in banking technology domains
- Partner with Enterprise Architecture, Information Security, Infrastructure, and Application teams to ensure cohesive solution delivery
- Communicate technical strategies and risks effectively to executive leadership
- Establish governance and best practices for solution engineer across the bank
- Represent the bank in external technical forums and contribute to industry thought leadership
- Demonstrate high accountability and ownership for solution outcomes and architectural integrity
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Master’s degree preferred
- 12+ years of experience in software development, enterprise architecture, or IT strategy
- 5+ years in a leadership role managing technical teams in a banking or financial services environment
- Proven experience in designing and implementing large-scale, secure, and scalable IT solutions
- Deep expertise in banking domains including core banking, digital channels, payments, and risk management
- Strong architectural knowledge across cloud, data, application, and security domains
- Demonstrated ability to evaluate and integrate third-party vendor solutions
- Experience with regulatory compliance, risk frameworks, and secure solution design
- Familiarity with Agile, DevSecRegOps, and modern software development methodologies
