About the role
- Solution Engineer Intern supporting sales engineering efforts and customer success for innovative automation solutions at Stonebranch. Collaborating with experienced engineers on technical evaluations and proof-of-concept projects.
Responsibilities
- Play an active role in our mission to empower enterprises with modern IT automation and orchestration.
- Collaborate closely with experienced Solution Engineers to support technical evaluations, customer engagements, and proof-of-concept projects.
- Support sales and solution engineers in customer interactions to help understand technical needs, business challenges, and automation requirements.
- Work alongside the sales team and partner teams to analyze and understand customer requirements and help deliver customer-specific solutions.
- Test and validate product integrations across various platforms and environments to ensure seamless functionality.
- Prepare and deliver compelling product demonstrations tailored to customer requirements and use cases.
- Develop and maintain customized integrations to enhance Stonebranch's product capabilities.
- Document integration configurations, best practices, and technical solutions.
- Support the sales and solution engineering teams in Proof of Concepts, such as answering the RFI (Request for Information) documents.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field OR working toward a degree in those fields.
- Experience with Python programming, including writing scripts and developing integrations.
- Familiarity with Windows and Linux/Unix operating systems; comfortable navigating and troubleshooting in both environments.
- Understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or OpenStack; exposure to containers or virtualization technologies is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of database technologies like Oracle, MySQL, and PostgreSQL, including database management concepts.
- Exposure to web application servers (e.g., Tomcat) and programming languages such as Java or shell scripting.
- Mainframe or IBM iSeries experience is a plus but not required.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to diagnose technical issues and develop creative solutions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a dynamic setting.
