Solution Engineer Intern supporting sales engineering efforts and customer success for innovative automation solutions at Stonebranch. Collaborating with experienced engineers on technical evaluations and proof-of-concept projects.
Responsibilities
Play an active role in our mission to empower enterprises with modern IT automation and orchestration.
Collaborate closely with experienced Solution Engineers to support technical evaluations, customer engagements, and proof-of-concept projects.
Support sales and solution engineers in customer interactions to help understand technical needs, business challenges, and automation requirements.
Work alongside the sales team and partner teams to analyze and understand customer requirements and help deliver customer-specific solutions.
Test and validate product integrations across various platforms and environments to ensure seamless functionality.
Prepare and deliver compelling product demonstrations tailored to customer requirements and use cases.
Develop and maintain customized integrations to enhance Stonebranch's product capabilities.
Document integration configurations, best practices, and technical solutions.
Support the sales and solution engineering teams in Proof of Concepts, such as answering the RFI (Request for Information) documents.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field OR working toward a degree in those fields.
Experience with Python programming, including writing scripts and developing integrations.
Familiarity with Windows and Linux/Unix operating systems; comfortable navigating and troubleshooting in both environments.
Understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or OpenStack; exposure to containers or virtualization technologies is a plus.
Basic knowledge of database technologies like Oracle, MySQL, and PostgreSQL, including database management concepts.
Exposure to web application servers (e.g., Tomcat) and programming languages such as Java or shell scripting.
Mainframe or IBM iSeries experience is a plus but not required.
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to diagnose technical issues and develop creative solutions.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly.
Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a dynamic setting.
