About the role
- Engineer/Technician for construction management in modernization projects at Covivio. Focusing on planning and executing maintenance and modernization projects for real estate in Berlin.
Responsibilities
- Planning and execution of maintenance and modernization projects for pre-sales/pre-letting refurbishment works
- Coordination and assurance of relevant construction and trade processes in close cooperation with other internal departments, construction and trade contractors, and purchasers
- Responsibility for scheduling and compliance with budget requirements in the aforementioned processes through to warranty follow-up
- Preparation of project reports as well as monitoring and documentation of acceptance/hand-over processes to ensure quality and contractual compliance
Requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering (Bauingenieurwesen), Architecture, or qualification as a construction technician or master craftsman in the construction trades (m/f/d)
- Experience in managing, supervising and executing modernization measures on existing properties, or knowledge of the residential property sector is an advantage
- Confident user of MS Office; experience with SAP and RIB/iTWO is a plus
- Excellent communication skills (very good German; good English is an advantage) and a confident manner
- Strong organizational skills and a high level of customer and service orientation
