About the role
- Electrical Field Service Engineer responsible for commissioning and troubleshooting critical electrical systems in Arizona. Working on various equipment while maintaining safety and compliance standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance on power distribution equipment (e.g., switchgear, UPS, generators, ATS, PDUs)
- Commission systems according to engineered specifications and document all startup testing
- Analyze failures and determine root causes with corrective action plans
- Interface with client facility teams to confirm power system integrity and schedule testing and repairs
- Maintain 24-hour call-out availability for critical service needs
- Respond to electrical faults, shutdowns, or customer escalations within required timeframes
- Lead restoration efforts with composure and technical accuracy under pressure

Requirements
- Active Journeyman Electrician license (or equivalent)
- Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent field experience (preferred)
- OSHA 30 and NFPA 70E; manufacturer training on switchgear, UPS, or generator systems (preferred)
- Skilled in interpreting schematics, single-line diagrams, MOPs, test reports, and load calculations
- Experience with digital multimeters, megohmmeters, power analyzers, IR cameras, and other diagnostic tools
- Adherence to NEC, IEEE best practices, and U.S. electrical field service protocols
