About the role
- Consultant for optimizing business processes and IT-related project management. Collaborating with teams to enhance effectiveness and scalability in various projects across the United States.
Responsibilities
- Analyze, document, and optimize business processes with emphasis on IT- and software-supported automation
- Plan and manage IT-related process improvement projects from conception through implementation
- Gather and evaluate business requirements, define objectives, and translate them into actionable project plans
- Create detailed documentation, including process maps, instructions, and project timelines
- Assess impact of proposed changes and facilitate cross-functional collaboration
- Lead workshops and meetings with stakeholders to align on project goals and timelines
- Ensure business processes comply with internal standards and regulatory requirements
- Monitor and report on project progress, risks, and milestones using suitable project management tools
- Act as a liaison between business units and IT teams
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement by identifying process inefficiencies
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related discipline
- 3–5 years of professional experience in business process consulting or IT project management
- Experience in process design, mapping, and optimization
- Successfully led or supported IT-driven process improvement or system implementation projects
- Comfortable collaborating with both business and technical stakeholders
- Experience with common project management tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project) is a plus
- PMP, PRINCE2, or comparable certifications are a bonus, but not required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong conflict resolution skills
- Willing to travel and collaborate with teams across multiple locations
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
