Responsibilities
- Analyse and gather requirements, translating into scalable hosting and service solutions
- Document and communicate solutions to stakeholders
- Lead the development of service architectures for projects
- Provide direction and support for organisational change and technology development teams
- Define and document service delivery frameworks
- Work closely with project managers and stakeholders for implementation
- Provide technical leadership in solution reviews
- Contribute to Envitia’s architecture policies and standards
- Ensure robust cost and effort estimation for solutions
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Solution Architect
- Experience designing data and application architectures in cloud environments
- Solid cloud knowledge in both Azure and AWS environments
- Strong experience defining and designing on-prem, hybrid, single cloud and multi-cloud architectures
- Solid experience in distributed architecture integrating Azure and AWS native applications with COTS applications
- Exposure to a range of modern architectures including data streaming, machine learning, and data lakehouses
- Exposure to modern data tools (e.g. Databricks, Snowflake, Power BI)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Security Clearance Requirements: must hold or go through SC security clearance
