About the role
- Backend Developer designing and implementing Golang microservices for a climate-focused AI energy management platform. Contributing to a team driving the energy transition and reducing CO₂ emissions.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and refactor Golang microservices
- Design and document REST or GraphQL APIs for internal and external use
- Write unit, integration, and load tests to ensure quality and resilience
- Review code, identify performance issues , and propose improvements
- Use Docker and CI/CD pipelines to build and ship services efficiently
- Monitor services , respond to incidents, and continuously improve reliability
Requirements
- Solid production experience with Go (Golang)
- Strong knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL or MySQL)
- Familiarity with AWS basics (ECS/EKS, RDS, IAM)
- Confident working with Git for daily workflows and code reviews

- Experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration
- Familiarity with message queues (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ)
- Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana)
