About the role
- Associate Attorney at RAS managing high-volume legal representation in bankruptcy matters for creditors. Working with experienced legal teams in a positive and collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Represent creditors in Chapter 7, 11, and 13 bankruptcy proceedings
- Manage a high-volume caseload independently
- Draft legal pleadings, motions, and correspondence
- Attend hearings (virtually or in person) and communicate with courts as needed
- Maintain effective and timely communication with clients and team members
- Work collaboratively with paralegals, legal support staff, and other attorneys
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- License to practice law in North Carolina required
- Excellent organizational, communication, and legal writing skills
- Ability to handle a large caseload in a fast-paced legal environment
- Previous bankruptcy or foreclosure experience a plus, but not required
