About the role
- Motor Damage Defendant Litigator handling litigated motor damage claims at DLG Legal Services. Delivering high-quality, cost-effective legal support in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, cost-effective handling of litigated Defendant Motor Damage claims in line with legal, regulatory, and client requirements.
- Provide technical expertise and ownership of complex litigation, ensuring cases are progressed proactively and resolved efficiently.
- Support positive customer outcomes and business performance through strong legal judgement with a customer-focused approach.
- Contribute to team capability, consistency, and continuous improvement across the function.
Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) or CILEx with a current practising certificate and the right to conduct litigation.
- Proven experience in civil litigation, ideally within motor damage or insurance-related matters.
- Road Traffic Accident (RTA) experience is preferred but not essential.
- Strong technical capability in drafting, negotiation, and case management.
- Sound commercial judgement and understanding of cost-effective litigation strategy.
