Area Sales Manager responsible for developing customer relationships and increasing sales for technical services in CEU. Focus on managed service offerings and client retention strategies.
Responsibilities
Systematic expansion of service coverage and maintenance for existing customers and acquisition of new customers for service offerings of consultative technical products
Primary point of contact for the target customer group of our key, potential, or existing service customers (high potentials)
Support for both customers with installed equipment and new accounts
Independently manage and develop long-term, partnership-based customer relationships
Revenue responsibility for the assigned service portfolio in the CEU region
Regular alignment and coordination with other Area Sales Managers on their sales activities
Support in developing sales strategies and in expanding the service portfolio
Requirements
Completed technical or commercial degree or comparable vocational training
Several years of professional experience in sales (preferably of technical products/services in metalworking or mechanical/plant engineering)
Experience in service for mechanical/plant engineering
Independent, conscientious and responsible working style
Flexibility, resilience, and strong team and communication skills
Proficiency with MS Office, experience with a CRM system and ideally SAP
Very good German and English language skills (additional European languages are an advantage)
Willingness to travel (focus on the CEU region)
