About the role
- Accountant responsible for managing financial operations, reporting to Finance Manager at TPF. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize workflows and support compliance in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist in corporate finance activities, including financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Prepare and submit regulatory reports in compliance with relevant standards.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Preparation of financial statements.
- Ensure adherence to accounting policies and financial regulations.
- Managing Accounts payable including processing invoices and payment runs.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external auditors.
- Assist in tax filings and other statutory requirements.
- Other Finance related tasks.
Requirements
- Later stages of ACCA or fully qualified Accountant with ACCA, University of Malta degree, or equivalent.
- Have 1 to 3 years of work experience in a similar position.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting standards.
- Previous experience within the Financial Services especially in card acquiring and Crypto would be an asset but not a requirement.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills demonstrating good command of the English language.
- Excellent numerical skills and proficient in Microsoft Office programs, mainly Excel.
- Be highly organized, able to work on own initiative, and have excellent attention to detail.
- Be a team player, flexible, and able to meet tight deadlines.
- Be able to work in a fast paced environment.
- Conversant with IT systems.
