About the role
- Accountant position supporting financial accounting and balance accounting for an innovative medical technology company. Located in Bochum, offering hybrid work and a collaborative team environment.
Responsibilities
- Processing ongoing accounting
- Coding, reviewing and posting incoming invoices
- Processing electronic bank statements
- Handling travel expenses and corporate credit card statements
- Fixed asset accounting
- Managing recurring entries and accruals
- General account reconciliation
- Assisting with the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements according to HGB
Requirements
- Successfully completed training as an accountant or tax clerk
- Experience in financial accounting / bookkeeping
- Independent, proactive and accurate working style
- Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel
- Knowledge of modern ERP systems, ideally SAP Business One (SAP B1)
- Good German and English language skills
