About the role

Responsibilities
- Define and evolve the target enterprise architecture across CI initiatives
- Lead the development and continuous refinement of the CI IT Playbook
- Collaborate with Business and IT stakeholders creating IT roadmaps
- Drive architecture governance and chair the Design Authority
- Translate complex business needs into visionary, scalable, and secure architecture solutions
- Develop and maintain reference architectures across application, data, and business domains
- Build and energize an architecture community across Zurich Commercial Insurance Units
- Guide and mentor solution architects
- Own and manage architecture artefacts as living assets
- Scout emerging technologies and assess their strategic relevance.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in IT architecture
- At least 3 years in an enterprise architect role
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- Proficiency in architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF)
- Expertise in defining enterprise target architecture, IT architecture principles, integration patterns, and technology lifecycle management
- Proven knowledge and experience in the insurance industry, preferably within commercial insurance
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent communication and strategic thinking abilities.
