- Claims Specialist handling auto liability property damage claims for Zurich North America. Managing claims from start to finish in a hybrid work model based in the US.
Responsibilities
- Manage auto liability property damage and comparative negligence losses
- Handle both comprehensive/collision and auto liability property damage claims
- Ensure claims are resolved efficiently and effectively
- Build strong partnerships with customers and brokers
- Conduct individual work in preferred location while facilitating in-person connections and collaborative activities when meaningful and valuable
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree with 2 or more years of experience in the Claims or Insurance area OR High School Diploma (or equivalent) with 4 or more years of experience in the Claims or Insurance area OR Completion of the Zurich Claims Training Program and and 2 or more years of experience in the Claims or Insurance area OR Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice including an Associate Degree and 2 or more years of experience in the Claims or Insurance area
- Must obtain and maintain required adjuster license(s)
- Microsoft Office experience
- Knowledge of insurance regulations, markets and products
- Prior experience in auto claims handling, insurance claims, or a related customer service field.
- Understanding of auto insurance policies, coverage, and state regulations.
