About the role
- Accounting Expert managing all accounting operations for ZOLL Poland, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and local regulations while providing financial analysis to support leadership.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all accounting and financial operations for ZOLL Poland
- Ensure timely completion of month-end, quarter-end, and year-end activities in accordance with US GAAP
- Manage daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting activities, supported by robust documentation
- Ensure compliance with US GAAP, local accounting standards, Sarbanes-Oxley controls, and ISO requirements
- Maintain full ownership of the Polish general ledger
- Oversee the month-end close process, including preparation and posting of journal entries
- Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations and manage cash accounts
- Process supplier invoices and execute weekly payment runs
- Support cash collection efforts
- Execute monthly intercompany accounting, including communication and reconciliation with Corporate and other subsidiaries
- Provide financial analysis to support leadership decision-making
Requirements
- Qualified Accountant with a strong commercial approach
- Minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of US GAAP and experience in a multinational environment
- Strong communication skills, fluent in Polish and English (written and verbal)
- Demonstrated competency in auditing and all aspects of commercial bookkeeping
- Experience in commercial business analysis and multi‑currency transactions
- Proven ability to lead and contribute within change‑management and continuous‑improvement environments
- Strong persuasion and influencing skills, with the ability to partner effectively across teams
